E-AHPBA – The world as a guest in Mainz
In 2017, wikonect had the opportunity to host the biennial international liver surgery congress of the EAHPBA (European-African-Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary-Association) for the first time.
The main topic was hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery (HPB), on which the most renowned experts from Europe, the USA and Japan, among others, gave lectures. In addition, the program consisted of a special on ALPPS (Associating Liver Partition and Portal vein Ligation for Staged hepatectomy), scientific and industrial symposia and more than 700 international scientific papers.
1200 participants from over 60 nations took part in the E-AHPBA Congress and received comprehensive support from wikonect.
Together with the partners of mainzplus, wikonect organized this international meeting.
